RECRUITING

Here are my thoughts on the top FB signees in 2000.

Lawrence Richardson: If eligible could see plenty of time at corner or kick returner,to much of a playmaker not to be on the feild. But dont forget about Lee Hayes ,he'll be a star in a few years. In Carlton Baker we have a cant miss at LB and if Brandon Holmes switches to LB{which he will} we will have the fastest set of head hunters in the SEC. People don't really appreciate what we have in Jason Peters. The cousin of Randy Garner turned down Fla.St., Neb., and Tenn. to play on the hill. Add to the mix Brian Watson and Pat Winn and you form a very tough D-Line. Sam Breeden will give those 5ft9 corners sleepless Friday nights. With Steve Spivey and Brian Hill we have the makings of two great book end tackles. Behind those tackles HDN has assembled a vast multitude of speed that now compares to the Floridas and Tennessees of college football. Oh yeah..one last note, Brennen O'Donohue can complete this team with kickoffs in the endzone and FGs from 30 yds and out.

I will post recruiting efforts for next season on 6-19-00.
